Thanksgiving 2008

We had a very nice Thanksgiving at the Bernards house. They are always such good host, and I always get to leave with lots of left overs. Mary even got out her China, and let the kids eat off it. Now that was brave. This was Connors first year sitting at the big kid table. He did not eat anything but enjoyed sitting there. Until he tried to pull the table cloth off, then it was time to get down.
Kaylee kept taking pictures of Timmy. This was one of the ones, she wanted to take outside for good lighting.
Here is the chef at work!
Kaylee and Daddy!
Rachel pretending she was sleeping for the camera-lovely!

Grandpa Steve & Kaylee
So I asked Kaylee to pose, so I can get a picture of her turkey shirt she made, and she kept doing this weird thing with her legs.
Two of the best looking Turkeys I have ever seen. The one on the left is cooked in the oven, the one on the right was deep fried! Thanks Bernards, for inviting us!

Aunt Tracy's 40th Birthday

We had such a great time at Tracy's 40th birthday.
Mary, Rachel and I got together and make these tombstones and put them all over the tables as centerpieces. It was fun getting together with them to put them together. One was beloved mother, one beloved sister, one beloved wife, and so on...
Alyssa and Robert are so good with the kids. If Alyssa was not carrying around Connor, then she was taking care of Kaylee. Thank you for being so good with the kids.

Return to Neverland Birthday Party!

Here is our little Pirate & Fairy, for Kaylee's Neverland birthday party!

Connor was such a handsome pirate. He looked uncomfortable in his costume but he kept it on the whole time.

Here are some of Kaylee's friends from her preschool class
Look at the cute Peter Pan!

Yummy-candy! Gavin was the one to break the Pinata-Way to go!

Here is Kaylee's Tinkerbell cupcake cake!

Cupcake anyone?

Here are some of Kaylee's friends watching Kaylee open presents and eating cupcakes. My only regret, is I wish I would have taken a group picture of all the kids in their costumes, so I could have gotten all of her friends in the picture. Thank you everyone for coming and sharing in this day with us!

Kaylee-Birthday at Grandpa's

Grandpa Steve had Kaylee over for a play date for her birthday. He has cupcakes for her (which was Connors favorite), and of course gifts. Thank you dad for making her day so special!

Baking at Nona's

This year we got together at Nona's and did some baking. We each brought 3 things to make. Everything was so yummy! This was such a great idea and we need to make it a tradition. I love getting the goodies to take home afterwards! Thanks you for a great time!

My Baby Girl Just Turned 5!

Well I have to cope with the fact that my baby girl is not a baby anymore! She just turned 5. I am having a really hard time with this. You never want to hear, enjoy the time because they grow up fast-but they do!

I am so proud of Kaylee and the little girl she has become. She has such a loving and thoughtful heart. She is such an amazing part of our family. And her spunky personality keeps us on our toes! I am so glad the lord blessed me with such an amazing daughter. To get to experience such an amazing mother-daughter bond. Is nothing I have ever experienced before.

I am so grateful to my wonderful husband for all of his hard work he does and sacrifices we have made as a family to be there for our children.

Kaylee I love the way you make me laugh, I love the way you care for your family, I love the way you treat your friends, I love how detailed you are, I love how creative you are, I love your determination, I love how you enjoy doing crafts and projects with me, I love the bond that we have together-that no one can ever take away! I love you!! I feel like the list can go on forever! Happy 5th birthday-my princess!

Wonderful Weather for a Picnic

Yesterday was such a perfect day, that I packed up the kids lunch and took them to the park to eat. It was a little harder then I thought. Because Connor would not sit down and eat, all he wanted to do was go on the playground, so he would carry his food around with him and ate as he played. However Kaylee loved having everything set up on the blanket, and was content with just hanging out.

Silly Connor

Okay-here is a picture of my life with my little pumpkin Connor. I ran up stairs to grab something. Connor was a little to quite-you know what that means, always trouble. Well I could here him with a little echo. I decided to grab my camera and thought this could be good. As soon as I swung open the bathroom door, this is what I saw. My little pumpkin Connor, with a smile on his face. He was so proud of himself.... He was plunging the toilet & his head. But whenever he gets into something and gets in trouble, he greets you with this sweet angelic smile. Or he runs towards you and wants to hug and kiss you. Of course, all I want to do is kiss this cute little boy-but I have to have a stern voice and tell him what he did wrong. Ahhh the joys of motherhood.
