Funny Connor Dude

I just wanted to post 2 things Connor is doing that I think it the cutest. Especially since they do not stay little like this for long. His first thing is when you ask him questions. Connor do you want to eat, and he says no, but is shaking his head yes as quickly as he can (you know he will never turn eating down). Every time you ask him something, and he wants something, he always shakes his head yes, but says no!

The other cute thing is his ouchies. About a week ago he was out back playing, and tipped over and bunked/skinned his head pretty good. I know this is not out of the norm for him to have bumps on his head. But when his daddy came home he would say ouchie ouchie, and point to where it hurt. Well this morning when he looked in the mirror, he saw that he had a scratch on his eye and said ouch. But later in the morning, I asked him where is ouchie is and he would point to the wrong spot. Then later he will say ouchie and point to the other side of his head, or his chin. He is so funny, he thinks he found another way to get attention. Boy-they start real young! It's hard to believe that my baby is 18 months old! SLOW DOWN!

Crazy Kaylee

Ok, we just got finished eating dinner, and I have a funny story to tell. I made Scotty's famous Ham & Cheese, and just made the kids grilled cheese. Kaylee was having a hard time eating her grilled cheese. Jerry asked her what kid in America does not like grilled cheese. She said, oh I like grilled cheese, I just do not like Mom's grilled cheese. Jerry said, moms grilled cheese are the best, and Kaylee disagreed and said Sonic grilled cheese are the best. Then Jerry looked at me and said I like your moms grilled cheese, Kaylee looked at me and said I love them to. Then she whispered to Jerry right in front of me, NOT REALLY, I WAS JUST TRYING TO BE POLITE AND NOT HURT MOMMY'S FEELINGS, I REALLY DO NOT THINK THEY ARE GOOD. Ahhhh lovely moments you will never forget as a parent. We both looked at eachother and laughed-kids will always be honest.

I am going to Wicked!

I am sooo excited! Nona was able to get us all tickets to the play wicked-she was able to get them this Saturday on presale. I did have to chuckle when Nona posted on her blog that we had to take out a small mortgage to get them. It will for sure be worth it!! I am so excited to go, there is no other play I have ever wanted to see more then this one! I am excited to get to spend the night with Nona, Jaime & Loni, and the rest of the family! Thanks Nona for including me!! We got tickets for mid July-and they are 11th row! We will have one of the best seats in the house. Now we just have to start counting down the days.

Nursing Cover!

I made a nursing cover, for someone my friend recommended. It turned out perfect... I compared it to the one I bought at a boutique for $45 and it is exactally the same! So if anyone is looking for a creative shower idea-keep me in mind!

I got it!

OK, so I talked to my neighbor and I got the number. The company they used for the birthday party was fun flicks. You can look them up online at www.funflicks.com. She had a 16FT screen, and served popcorn, and had a concession stand set up like at a movie theater. It was such a creative idea. When you rent it, you get it for a certain amount of hours, so the kids get to pick a movie ahead of time to watch. But afterwards they can play wii and other things on it! Looked like so much fun!!

Valentines 2009

We had a great weekend together for Valentines day! It is just great to have the weekend together as a family! Here is a picture frame that Kaylee made for her daddy! I Love it!
I have to admit I was jealous that Jerry got that frame. I love homemade gifts, they are the best. Until Kaylee came home with this Valentines morning. Kaylee made me a jewelery box. She actually pounded the nails in and made it for me. Lowe's has the cutest thing ever. The kids got to go in, and make it. They got an apron & goggles. Once they completed the class they got a patch to add to their apron for each class they complete. The best part of it-it is free!! They have a class coming up this month-I believe the 28th to make a car. It is soooo much fun for the kids. I recommend it!!

Kaylee made us some Valentine cupcakes too! I have to toot my horn on her love bug apron I made her. Again-thanks Grandma Jan for your help! The best part for Kaylee was licking the mixer & bowl. Afterwards her belly hurt!

I have to admit, my best Valentines gift, was this.... My brother sent me a chocolate covered fruit arrangement. YUMMY.... Of course the strawberries and bananas dipped are the best. I could not believe he sent this to his annoying sister.... It makes me feel guilty for all the times I am pest to him. I have to admit this is the best gift ever.... I felt like a princess, and LOVED it. I told Jerry I could get use to having chocolate covered strawberries every night! Thank you very much!

Day at the park with DADDY!

Today we had such a great day at the park. The best park was having Daddy there. It is really nice to have him home more on the weekend, and get to do fun family days together. Thanks for a great day!

Project

This is my first Shopping cart cover I have made!! Thanks to a lot of help and patience from Grandma Jan. I will be a pro before I know it. So anyone looking for baby goodies for a shower-You know who to contact!! My friend just had a purse party, and had some of my goodies there. It was a great opportunity for me to get my stuff out there! Thank you for giving me that opportunity!!

Great Idea

Okay last night we saw the greatest thing ever. We were driving by and it looked like our neighbors had a movie theater in their backyard. When we looked over the fence, it looked like their kids were having a slumber party. It was a big screen that was put in one of those blow up bouncers. Only it was not a bouncer, it was a giant blow up movie screen. It had a projector playing new released kids movies. It also had movie theater speakers. I just thought it was such a great idea, for a kids party.... Jerry wished we had one of those to watch the Cardinals on it. So now I am going to go to our neighbors and knock on the door and see where they ordered it from.

Train Park with the McDonalds

This time daddy got to go with us to the train park. We had such a great time the first time, we had to go back!
Connor playing at the playground and having fun. He likes to climb on anything he can.

Here is daddy, Kaylee & Noah. Heath and Kari are such good friends of ours. We do not get together enough, but whenever we get together we have such a great time. Noah is such an awesome friend, and we are excited to meet their new little one real soon!

Fun with Jeremy & Toni

Here is Jeremy, Connor & Kaylee
Kaylee and Connor dancing after Dinner.

Connor & Declan Dancing!! So I could not get a picture of all 3 of us looking at the camera. But since I never get to see my nephews or show them off, I wanted to post what I had!
We took the kids to pump it up to play, so here are some pictures of the kids
SLAM DUNK!!

Build a Bear Valentine

My brother Jeremy and Toni were in town, and they treated the kids to go to Build a Bear for Valentines. The kids had so much fun! Connor made a dinosaur, and Kaylee made a pink heart monkey. They really spoiled the kids, and they had so much fun! Thank you! As you can tell, Connor and Declan, just loved running around the place.

Go Cardinals

We had a great time Celebrating the Cardinals this season. Even though they did not win the Super Bowl, we are very proud of everything they accomplished!! I also had a great time taking everyones money in the superbowl bets!!

New Blanket

Our really good friends are Beaver fans. So for their little one, I made these goodies! This was more for the daddy then B3.... Hope you enjoy!

Crazy Kids

So one of Connors new things is to take all the DVD's out of this little box, and then to sit in it. I have no idea how he can fit in that little box. But it can keep him entertained forever!!
Kaylee took out all my bowls, lids, cutting boards, and lined them all up to go around the kitchen, and then would hop from one object to the next. It is interesting to see what kids come up with to entertain themselves!

Connor, Connor, Connor

Well life is TOTALLY different with a boy then with a girl. I never realized how lucky I had it with Kaylee. Something new Connor is doing is opening doors on his own. Which many of you may not think is that bad. RIGHT... Well you know how much my son loves to eat. Now he thinks he can just help himself to anything in the pantry. Yesterday when I came down stairs, he had 3 boxes of cereal pulled out and was eating them. My biggest fight with him in the day is to not get in the pantry. So I started putting a chair in front of the door. He will just move the chair. Then I put my foot in front of the door, he will sit on the floor crying and with all of his might try to move my foot. Once he figures out it is not moving, he goes into breakdown mode. So this weekend, Jerry gets to put a lock on our pantry door. Who has to do that for a 1 1/2 year old?

So tonight when Jerry got home. I heard the door to the garage open, then shut, I figured Jerry was taking out the trash, no-it was just Connor going in and out. So point of the story, is I have to child proof my house better! Boys...

Kaylee & Daddy Movie Night

Kaylee filled up her marble jar and FINALLY got to go to the movies with her dad. She went to the dog hotel movie, and she even cried in it. She really liked it, and of course had a good time with her daddy!
